Where you reproduce material from Playces, such as a figure, a table, a map or an exported report, include the statements for the data it uses. Reproduce them exactly as written here:
- Contains data which is proprietary to and © The University of Sheffield, and which is made available under licence. All rights, including copyright and database rights, are reserved.
- Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
- Contains OS data © Crown copyright and database right 2025. Boundaries from the Office for National Statistics, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Background maps
The street, grey and satellite maps are provided by Esri through ArcGIS Location Platform and used under Esri’s terms. They are loaded from Esri as you view them; Playces does not store them. Each map shows its attribution in its corner, and maps in exported reports carry it too.
